The Aftermath return to Uisneach
Currently hard at work finishing their second album, Mullingar’s finest mod-rockers The Aftermath are the latest addition to the musical bill at Festival of the Fires.
With a July release date, the new album is to feature guest appearances from the legendary hellraisers Shane MacGowan and BP Fallon. It is the follow-up to their critical and commercial triumph that was “Friendlier Up Here”. That album spawned several Top 20 singles and led to the band performing at just about every major event and festival in Ireland over the past number of years. They’ve played with everyone from Pete Doherty to Razorlight and their annual Electric Picnic appearances in the Mindfield area are the stuff of legend, and we can safely say their Festival of the Fires appearance will also fall into that category.
