Festival of the Fires 2011 was a tremendous success and that is down to you. With an attendance of over 4000 at the main Uisneach event, we were delighted to ignite the summer festival season in spectacular fashion.

First of all thanks a million for a fantastic festival again this year, I was there last year by myself but brought five back with me this year , the only negative thing i could say about this year , and i know you got caught for time with the parade – was the cutting short of the brilliant Kila gig. They are a band that are truely just made for Uisneach and probably suit best to be the band on after the parade like you did in 2010 ? Please please try get them back for next year !! hope you haven’t fallen out with them . And bring back the bulls and the second Bonfire – I realise it was probable the wind direction that prevented that this year ! But what a festival – whats the plan for next year – Moving hearts come back gig ?? Horslips ?? perfect doing the Book of Invasions ?? oh my god if Carlsberg done festivals eh !!! Anyway thanks a million and see ye all again next year !! and thanks to the Clarke family for sharing there beautiful lands with us on this great occasion ,
